The Occupational Therapy Society primarily supports students on the course but is also open to anyone curious about occupational therapy.

The society aims to:

  • Expand on the learning and professional development of students.
  • Facilitate fun socials and networking events to connect students in between years, across the health care professions, and also with alumni.
  • Strengthen the identity of the profession through raising awareness.

Some of the events involve continued professional development, skills training sessions (e.g.: first aid, public speaking), guest speakers, volunteering and charities, conference discounts, employment support, social gatherings and outings, recreational group activities, multi-disciplinary team (MDT) building activities, alumni networking, fundraising, awareness campaigns, and much much more!
